Last Sunday the nation's first underwater Girl Scout cookie booth took place. Our troop had a blast getting to do two things we love: scuba dive and sell cookies!
The question of how the booth stays underwater is commonly asked. Let me tell you it is the not easiest task.
We sink a drying rack to the bottom of the pool, which we place cookies underneath. But the cookies are so buoyant that if we place too many under the rack it will cause the rack to float to the surface. Along with any diver who holds on to the cookies too long.
The turnout was great! Many people came with tanks and BCD's ready to buy their favorite Girl Scout cookies. We were even featured on KVUE!
Looking forward to more cookie selling and a great new year with plenty more dives!
